RE:Allegiant voting and allocationAt this point it did the dip into mid/low 50's and now the gradual price creep back up might be people trying to sneak back in prior to the vote so that they can be recordholders of note for the spinoff without having to spend too much for the free shares.   

Once the vote happens and record-holder date hits, then there will probably be a tax-loss inspired exodus.  There are approx 15m shares that traded hands earlier in the year while the sp was above its current and where people could be incented to take the tax loss.  That would put CGT shares on sale up until late Dec for anyone that believes that they won't just let themselves be slow-stepped towards a minor holding in a major producer.    

"Interesting" may not be the correct word, but I will use it anyway as far as the next couple of months of share-watching are concerned.
