Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Cannabis and cancer: another connection

RE:RE:RE:Cannabis and cancer: another connectionThey're approved based mostly on anecdotal evidence. I'm not saying cannabinoids have no medical benefit, I'm saying be skeptical of these early studies. The amount of garbage that gets published on an individual basis would shock you (that’s why we need dozens of seemingly redundant experiments in science). We need large-scale human clinical trials that will only come with legalization. The illegality of these compounds makes them very difficult to get approval for these types of studies.
