I was thinking the same thing - Tianqi also said recently that a lot of miners will have difficulty producing high quality lithium hydroxide - but NMX has already shown that they can do this.  I think Tianqi is the most likely candidate for a strategic partnership.  FMC is another strong possibility but if they just want NMX to produce more lithium carbonate for them then that's a huge waste of potential and a bad deal.  Hopefully that's not in the cards.
