He was hired just last May from Finning. I didn't see any manufacturing in his resume so I was curious as to why he was a candidate.
It's really odd that the announcement of his leaving was so low key and without the usual thanks for doing such a good job. Nor even the "pursuing other opportunities" catch phrase.
It may be a signal of bad news. The stock price certainly turned south late in the day.
It'll all be revealed in time, I suppose.
