Moving Averages and Ranting Are the moving averages truly indicative of anything for Nemaska? The 15 day SMA pushed through the 50 day and 200 day SMAs back in August, which is generally a buy-signal. Since then, the stock has gained 50% (1.20$ to 1.80$). I don't see reason to believe this is the end of the trend either. I didn't previously think 1.40$ was the end either, the price at which my father sold some shares. However, with nemaska, how long can this upwards trend continue? There are too many inderterminable factors at play that can move this stock in either direction without notice. For this reason, I rhetorically ask if one can trust anything about this company, its metrics, its CEOs, the professionals, the bullboards, or anything other than one's own gut instinct?
I know one thing is for certain: both the bulls and bears are correct when they state that Nemaska will not remain at 1.80$ +/-10 cents in the upcoming 3 months. I have always been bullish on this company; it was the first stock I've ever purchased going back around 4 years ago. It has taught me many valuable life lessons about myself and investing (patience for example). It also made me a ton of money (I bought in at an average position of 78 cents a share). This after buying more shares over the last couple years. One question remains for myself and all investors: at what point does patience and profitability turn into greed and fiscal loss?
To answer myself, I can confidently state that the Wabouchi project is not far off from realizing its untapped potential. We shareholders are invested in a growing market (lithium batteries), and have yet to see, in my unprofessional opinion, anywhere near the summet for lithium prices. For some reason, many big players have sat on their derieres during the last 36 months thinking that there's enough Lithium to go around. They're going to pay a nice price as a compensation for this lethargy. This is our cherry on-top. Nonetheless, everything specific about the mine is another reason to be excited; these reasons should not have to be repeated here.
I'm holding on tight, for now, because this company is a gem.
