RE:Groupon Launches Pioneering Loyalty Deal with Points

RE:Groupon Launches Pioneering Loyalty Deal with PointsVery exciting news. While we know the core business of selling miles is intact and points travel anticipates breakinh even in '18 it's penetrating the retail markets that could take Points to another stratosphere. First Groupon, next is a major oil company that will be rewarding its customers with free miles at the pump. And hopefully many other industries will follow and reward its customers as well. Think about how many millions of miles a major retailer like a home depot would have to purchase from Points if they followed suit and gave customers miles or points on purchases. As brick and mortar stores come up with strategies to compete with Amazon, partnering with Points could be one of the ideas used to entice and give more incentive to its customer base.
