RE:RE:RE:GREAT NEWS, but no Volume
RE:RE:RE:GREAT NEWS, but no Volume I could not agree more. After further DD over the past few days, I lost the remaining patience I had and decided to exit this morning. I just don't trust the present management team (under 10 employees in the whole firm) that work remotely - the Ottawa address seems to be just a mailbox. It seems most of the original team is getting out. Ryan Brown is now the CEO of Northbud, so it would seem that Robert Bechard is taking on the business development duties, Guy Chamberland doesn't even have Tetra listed on his LinkedIn page, the new Dr. they hired to advocate for them has only 3 years of postdoc xp with one hospital and a few semesters as a Teaching Assistant. Besides Chamberland, the research team are only a few years out of school with limited xp. AS Courtois is primarily French speaking and has only been in Canada since 2013. I agree that a huge reason for Andre leaving was to fund his new mining venture through selling shares, but I think he believes that this stock rose very quickly this year and why not capitalize on his massive gains before some further pullback ahead of next fall. As for the new CEO, I don't think he is a terrible addition, but they certainly could have done better. I know I'm not touching on the entire team here but given how small they are, I fail to see how they can effectively bring in more shareholders from the US and in general. A few investor conferences are simply not going to do this and I think the threat of dilution has many scared off.
I'm not saying this stock doesn't have great potential, because it does. I just think that the present team has not been effective in marketing their product developments and partnerships thus far and I do not trust them to do this going forward. I really want to see Tetra succeed as I have been with this stock since February and their products have the potential to make meaningful differences in the lives of many, but it simply cannot sustain a price at any level and these constant fluff NRs are not going to help.
Just my opinion, I wish everyone good luck and I hope Tetra is acquired for the sake of the shareholders and the innovative products.
