Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Good News for All!

RE:Good News for All!To be fair there are countless examples of expanding through debt and being the first name on the market that have succeeded. Just look at Netflix Amazon or the Canadian tele sector. You could argue Telus and Clearnet before them put out superior user friendly packages but just could not overcome the big name recognition they were up against.

Bottom line there is room for both of these companies to flourish like Labatt and Molson. It doesn't have to be one or the other and quite frankly there is zero chance one company gets 100% of the market share so who really cares, we are not in competition with each other as much as we are in this together, unless someone hits a real head wind like a Valeant.
