Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:Different perspective...

RE:RE:Different perspective...Premium, can you imagine what your $20 share would be worth if managemnt has the vision not to sell too early.  I have no problem with you liquidting your position in a year at $20, its a great return, however I dont want to see the company sold prematurely.

I for one am hoping management doesnt pull the trigger, but one of the biggest problems for small cap companies is whether managment and shareholder objectives are aligned.

After meeting Vic, Cole and John last week at the AGM I believe they have 5 more years in the tank.

Stick to the business plan.  Don't be short sighted.

Make no mistake about it, Linton will spin this the best way he can, and yes he has a great partner, but he just gave up control.  He has a new boss that he reports to.  If he wants to remain in the industry, he might want to start polishing up his resume.

I think he pulled the trigger too soon, but he had no choice.  His back was up against the wall.

Just my opinion.

I believe five years from now there will not be a Canadian marijuana producer.

They will have all sold out.  This industry is too big for alcohol/tobacco companies not to get into and as we have seen amalgamation in those industries, I have no doubt we will see the Canadian produces gobbled up by global conglumerates.

I am ok with that, buy out Aphria for 20$/share which I believe will happen in the next year and it was still a good run.

On the other hand, I could be wrong.

Cheers
