They mention that there may be up to 282 million electric vehicles in the next 20 years.   Frankly, I think they underestimate it.    China, all by itself, could have that number of electric vehicles.   In 20 years they want to switch to electric vehicles, and today they operate 150 million.   China is command capitalism, if their central party wants electric cars, they will not issue license plates to gas cars (which they are doing now in their largest cities), they will shut down gas stations, they will even cut the power to plants they determine are not fulfilling their ultimate goals.   Add to that Britain and the EU having similar goals and this could be bigger.
