Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Running lessons and Business reality

RE:Running lessons and Business reality Thanks for making me feel like poop. I'm 30 now and haven't ran in months.

I did  go to the Boston Marathon (pat on the back)

Any runner out there knows what that means to break 3 hrs or 40 minutes so I  have an another analogy to follow up on my previous post.

In business anyone can start up a new company but the hard part is
MAKING a PROFIT- with positive cash flow.

In running anyone can SAY they will do a run (42 km or 10 km) but the hard part is
IN WHAT TIME !

I used to hear beginning runners with little or no training say they can do a 42 km run or a 10 km run – BUT they not give their projected time.

So I will give some realism to running and business using times and money.

Run Time
42 Km – below 3 hrs     10 Km – under 40 min ……….# 1 scenario
                 3.30 – 4:00                    -  40 – 50 min………….# 2 scenario
                 4:00 – 5:00                    -  50 – 60  min……..….# 3 scenario
                 5:00 – 6:00                    -  60 -90   min……...….# 4 scenario
                   over 6 hrs                    - over 90 min……....….# 5 scenario

Business Profit

Positive EBITDA with 80 % margins and free cash flow……..….# 1 scenario
Positive EBITDA with 50% margins and free cash flow……...….# 2 scenario
Positive EBITDA with 20 % margins and free cash flow…….......# 3 scenario
Positive EBITDA with 10 % margins and free cash flow……..….# 4 scenario
Negative EBITDA with no free cash flow – losing money ……….# 5 scenario

In the Cannabis sector we hear of many companies that start up easily SAY they will have 1 million sq ft of capacity (Aurora) and that they will expand (WEED) with many more sq ft with unlimited cash on hand and with cash burn.

But just like novice and naive runners who do not GIVE THEIR TIME they do NOT SAY IT WILL BE PROFITABLE  in the future when they actually go to produce Cannabis just as when the runner has to actually run the race.

It is easy to say something but hard to actually do it.

These other Cannabis LP ALL talk big about what they will do but when it comes down to it who will be profitable ?

Aphria will !     Why ?
Because they ALREADY ARE !!
