RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:No looking back now !!!! 8 May 2015..."The future of the Esperance Port expansion is being questioned as its biggest user announces plans to wind up operations.
The port was due to be upgraded this year into a multi-user iron ore facility, with capacity increasing from 11 to 20 million tonnes each year.
Last week the port's major user, iron ore miner Cliff Natural Resources, cut up to 120 workers from its Koolyanobbing and Windarling operations.
The company, which makes up 75 per cent of exports through the Esperance Port, has indicated it plans to close within the next five years..."
Doesn't sound to me like Cliffs will buy MMS iron ore but you never know. But, this puts MMS is a good spot because as far as I know they are the only one in this area with a shovel ready deposit.
