These banners include Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson's Bay, Lord & Taylor, and Off 5th in North America and Galeria Kaufhof, Galeria Inno, and Sportarena in Europe. HBC also has investments in real estate joint ventures. In Canada, it has partnered with RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust in the RioCan-HBC joint venture.

RE:Reuters and HBC confirmed It has been confirmed since the morning. The offer itself is not really the concern, the concern is the stupidity and stubborness of the HBC board of directors. The fact that they are not embracing this offer and have been so hostile in their reaction makes me think they won't accept it.
