My apologies for the slow response but yes, what Trelawny wrote is correct. That's where I watch the number of End Customers. 

Given your different results in different browsers that sounds like file caching. I'm not an IT guy but that sounds to me like they must be manually updating the HTML with the new numbers periodically instead of using server side script to generate the number dynamically. 

The tracking stats naming has matured over time. I've noticed the same. It seems they have settled on 'Clients' and 'End Customers' for conveying size of business. I'm sure they have more metrics for management purposes but I think these are two great numbers for us to track.
