RE:Strategically....They likely went through this deal with William Hill at the time and Wlliam Hill gave the nod, nod, wink wink that assuming they could work out the details all would be fine.

I assume that is why NYX seem to believe they have the legal right not to allow William Hill to convert their shares at this time.  There is likely some background noise to this whole thing.

It also donned on me today that as William Hill is also a public company how could their board explain these massive losses if they conver to their own shareholders.  Another thing that makes no sense.
