RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Q3 numbers out....I've been trading for more than a decade...I've done very well for myself...not new at all.
However,
I call it tax loss selling. :)
I have significant gains elsewhere that I've incurred this year, or that I could still trigger.
and ...
I'll never get back to break-even on this stock, one of the worst investments I've ever made to be honest. Sadly yes I initiated this position prior to the oil crash, think around $60, averaged down at various points in time on the way down, but I've lost a fair amount on this stock over the past four years...
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see they are turning things around. I have small positions in my RRSP, RESP and TFSA that I will hang on to that are in a small gain position.
IMHO, they're still too heavy Western Canada based...
It basically comes down to how I want to allocate my assets in my trading account, and I no longer want to have this many shares of this company, in my trading account...
So I guess there was more to the story that I posted...didn't think anybody would really care to comment on it to be honest.
No offense taken.
Let's hope for a big bounce tomorrow.
:)
