RE: Phil ... 30% more clay ...The deposit is going to get bigger. They only drilled in one direction, torward the nearest property boundary a total of 600 meters away. The big increase will come when the follow the shear zone hosted Cornwall type deposit toward the other more distant end of the deposits area. That drilling will add significant tonnage, potentially increasing kaolin resources by 15-20 million tons.
The reason they went the direction they did is that the pit designs will have to be on the best explored portion of the property, so they did that side first. The Geophysics program thats going on right now will save them drilling costs on the next phase, which I suspect will go down as soon as Geophysics is completed and its results reported to the company.
The last time I was in N.S., the significance of the clay deposits was not even recognized, so I have not been on the property. I know enough of the areas geology to figure it out though. And yes, I call BBS pretty frequently, both to discuss ALY business and to pass on market info to BBS. Its not insider info, but I can read a lot more into things because I do know the geology and also the clay business better then your average Joe, so I probably get more out of my talks then most of you would. Still, I have to guess on some of the things I mention, even if they are educated guesses.
