RE:Light at the end of a very long tunnel?
I'd say there is light at the end of the extraordinary long tunnel considering this fiscal year, they will earn about $5.5M. However, until they get their throughput up and grade up a bit more, things won't change with SP, unless they strike some deal with the Chinese or the Chinese are able to invest in the market. There is no exposure here in North America and Europeans just want out..
The view is they can augment production and throughput via the underground mine by leveraging much higher grades, but that is a ways away. So, in the meantime, grade increases within the pit are key, along with a 50% increase in throughput. Get the Oz produced up to 12k -15k per Q, show significant AISC and profitibility and market the shat out of the company. Soon? Until I see it, I won't believe it...
