modest takeout valuation

modest takeout valuationHey gang, The Fairfax rumblings are definitely encouraging. Based on my sense of previous Fairfax transactions, I don't expect a big takeout premium at the outset. I'm sure there are some rules (that I don't know about) that guide what sorts of takeout bids are acceptable. One such rule seems to have to do with the average trading price over the last several months. That number is a small one...$1.80...MAYBE, I'd guess. So, as I've suggested before, my fear that the takeout price will be too low, might come to pass. I predict a $2.00 takeout offer...by the end of December. Now, that number is not good for me since my average price is closer to 3. I'd have to buy a huge amount of shares to get closer to two dollars. I wonder what Watsa's average price is? Close to 3? Less? Well, let's see what unfolds. When Watsa moves on takeouts, he usually moves quickly...out of necessity no doubt. Party on!
