Saturday , November 11 , 2017 Uruguay resumed distribution of legal marijuana in pharmacies, suspended at the end of October, with two new varieties available to a public that tripled since the sale began, according to official data. In total, 15,075 people are registered to buy the drug in pharmacies, according to the official Institute for Regulation and Control of Cannabis (Ircca), more than triple the day that began the unprecedented mechanism of sale to the public on July 19. The distribution of cannabis for recreational use in pharmacies was suspended due to "the expected variability in the chemical profile of these crops," said Ircca himself at the end of last month.
