In total, 15,075 people are registered to buy the drug in pharmacies, according to the official Institute for Regulation and Control of Cannabis (Ircca), more than triple the day that began the unprecedented mechanism of sale to the public on July 19. The distribution of cannabis for recreational use in pharmacies was suspended due to "the expected variability in the chemical profile of these crops," said Ircca himself at the end of last month. The distribution will be standardized next Tuesday at the pharmacies attached to the system, which will now have two new varieties of the drug sold in sealed packages of five grams.
