RE:RE:Really do not understand the market

RE:RE:Really do not understand the marketThis really is a garbage article!!  The names of the 2 short sellers were not released and not one bit of there part of the conversation was quoted!!  You have to love an article based on one side of a bar room conversation!!  Now back to the gist of the article, as I have posted in previous posts all shares held in a margin account that are in a margin position (you are borrowing money you don't have for shares you purchased) are eligible to be lent to short sellers.  What you need to do and what your brokeage dosen't tell you is if you don't want your shares to be loaned to the shorts you need to clear up your margin or move your shares to a TFSA or RRSP account, the brokerage is not allowed to loan shares from a registered account!!!  LASTLY, why is it bad that brokers from any bank tell there clients to not have there shares in a margin account?  If you own the shares to go LONG like most people then why would you not want your shares to be available for the shorts????  SO THIS IS ANOTHER PIECE OF ADVICE, GET YOUR SHARES OUT OF MARGIN AND LETS S***W THESE SHORT SELLING VERMON!!!
