Google and Apple collaboration Mobile-app. Release Nov 2017 Data Deposit Box has recently rolled out their new Network Attached Storage (NAS) / cloud hybrid software for Small and Medium Business (SMB) data backup. Starting with integrations for two of the world's leading local storage appliance makers, the plans answer Managed Service Provider (MSP) demand for hybrid data options as well as automated, end-to-end, mobile and white label cloud backup solutions. Starting with NAS integration software for
Synology and QNAP – two established, top tier giants in the SMB NAS marketplace –
Data Deposit Box has been building a NAS-independent platform, which ultimately allows MSPs to offer their clients a hybrid solution with the company's advanced cloud data services together with the local storage appliance make of their choice. The planned hybrid solution is designed for white labelling by MSPs who want to grow their SMB segment, allowing simple and smart 24/7 management anywhere, using any browser. It also includes LiveLink – a mobile feature for Android and iOS devices, which gives end users mobile remote data access to help grow MSPs' SMB business with cheaper, better and faster data backup answers.
Management was primarily focused on cleaning up operations and ensuring a smooth and active business stream from their customers and resellers. They have also been focused on raising additional capital from the issuance of equity securities.
A new feature, the Mobile in-app purchases, is being developed with a release date of November 2017; this allows users to sign up for services offered by Data Deposit Box over their phone without having to enter their credit card details due to
Google and Apple’s collaboration.
