Anyone here read financials?

I had been looking at this stock for about an hour. I went to their website and took a look at their investor links and found their most recent posted financials (23/08/2017):

Can someone please tell me where the upside is here? The financials look like that of a failing startup. What is the driving force of stock price here? What is justifying the 8.7M volume?
