I highly doubt this is any kind of a short attack. it's a big down day for oil across the board, most spec money is off chasing pot and lithium plays and some of the spec money that is in roe probably didn't like the fact that permits are still a couple of weeks away and are moving on for other trades, probably didn't like the numbers either. I think it's just normal market activity.

probably trade like this until final permits are issued or new buyers move in. lots of negative news out there on oil today with articles on the usa becoming net exporters some years down the road aren't helping these plays either.
