mobile applicationThere are many scenarios where NO security measures are full proof. I am predicting that the mobile technology will be used in situations where you want to covertly bring the patscan into a crowd of people and work together with other mobile patscanners to locate any potential threats. This could be done ahead of check points where crowds are filtered into narrow passages (where the fixed patscan tech is located). The mobile application might also be something that is used where the proprietor doesn't want to build the device into a wall or ceiling. Finally, police could covertly carry the device into all sorts of scenarios where they are in close proximity to people (examples: riot police and border security). The fact that this tech identifies weapons and not just metal is not something that the security industry is going to ignore. They are going to want to integrate this tech at some point in the future. Oops, was that pumping???
