RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:.................one month.........................Red_Deer I agree with you about the abnormal volume for AAB on that day. I understand your view.
As for the NAV and share price being so different it's all about supply and demand. In almost 20 years of trading I can firmly say there is no logic between fundamental data and stock price. How many stock trade multiple time their book value ? A LOT
Here is an example of no logic in trading, Do you gents remember when the gold price breakout and started a bubble? Lots of trader buying gold stock......people where so in a frenzy to buy gold stock that they where buying anything that had the word "gold" in the company name.....in one funny case a technology stock was mistaken for a gold miner because it had the word "gold" in their company name lolll that how crazy it was!
Really there is no logic!!! That's why I rely on technical analysis of the chart to understand what really is going on because numbers on a financial report are just numbers!!! But charts will not lie (most of the case unless low volume stock), if people are bailling out the chart will show it...
Also I remember in early 2000, with a few stock having 10 bagger, there was no justification for it but people bought them because it was going up with volume and like a snowball going downhill it was getting bigger and bigger until massive pullback gave the last one in a cold shower!
Also people complain about a stock having share price not doing much for years....this is called phase 1 (consolidation).....it can take a few months to a few years so people that bought in a phase 1 should be advice that it can stay as a phase 1 for a long time! Too bad people complain about a share price not moving much for a long time when they should know that it's normal whatever the fundamentals are saying...you need demand for the stock because on paper it could be the best company in the world but if no one cares no one will buy it, that's bussiness!
