Let me clarify. In Nicaragua they were required by contract to be cyanide free and collect the mercury residues. Mercury is used everywhere in Latin America for separating the gold. Very deadly situation, so many young children are poisoned for life or fatally stricken by the vaporized mercury. In Honduras GER is using cyanide to process the ore. It would be interesting if they did move away from cyanide & use ETI instead. The percentages are there @ 90%+ recovery so would be great if GER made it happen.
