RE:RE:RE:Does anyone know if Neometals has broken ground on For all we know, Neometals could be one of the NDAs gearing up to partner with or license AMI patent pending cathode recycling technology, or they could very well be trying by to develop their own hydro metallurgical process or “recipe” What matters moving forward is performance, cost competitiveness and eco consciousness, who can recover the most for the least and in the cleanest, eco friendly way. We know AMI gets 100% back and we know it’s battery grade material (has to be of the highest purity for battery cathode use) because they made new batteries from recycled material. Neometals can patent whatever they want but if they can’t get 100% back why bother to patent it? This tech is going to be worth an extreme fortune as we usher in a new era of how we generate and use energy (renewables + storage batteries) and it’s turning into a competitive patent race and AMI is out in front with the non provisional already signed, sealed and delivered last week.
What sucks is it feels like we are watching a horse race that is taking years to reach the finish line.
