it contains an explanation, however since your posting to this 
board just google “How to short sell stocks” alternatively you 
could ask a full service broker. But know in advance you are borrowing 
someone else’s shares and you will have to pay a fee. It
also might be a good plan find out what textbooks your local college 
uses to teach financial planning and buy or borrow them.
The big read is Graham and Dodd’s Security Analysis a copy of
which you should own if you can afford it.
