RE:Just a warningIf the opposition to Pebble were all that smart, they would have bought a majority of shares at 25 cents, 160 million shares, 40 million (obviously transaction fees and rise in price would affect that number). If the opposition had bought a majority of shares, they could have voted in a new board, they could have shut the whole process down, they then could have bought out the remainder of the shares for cents due to no future for the project. Instead they are begging for donations and giving money to lawyers to help shut down a project that will eventually go ahead. Trump's administration will get it through, even if it is by firing every EPS staff member who speaks against the project.
Much of the north is desperate for the economic impact that a project like this will create.
Once the project goes ahead, the state and community governments must make sure the money generated creates a legacy fund that beneifts all.
So......how smart do you really think the Anti Pebble group really is????
