RE:RE:RE:Health Canada announcement tomorrow @ 3.30 pmI can easily see the Federal Govt saying something like "While the Trudeau government remains committed to legalizing the recreational use of marijuana across the country, the provinces have requested more time to get the appropriate infrastructure set up to sell marijuana so we are adjusting our timeline from July 1, 2018 to XXX (some date later than July 1st but not likely later than Dec 31, 2018.)"

Of course, I am purely speculating here but I can't see what else would warrant an announcement from the Fed Govt.  Given the comments from the provinces lately, they certainly can't be speeding up the legalization...
