RE:Big drop in short position

RE:Big drop in short positionRemember, the Canadian short interest is +- meaningless until one knows the US OTC short interest held for TSTIF, and this latter is not reported yet. As was pointed out during the recent bear raid and short report scam, a substantial amount of the total short interest in both markets is moved nephariously but apparently legally back and forth between Canadian markets and the US OTC. Between July 15 and August 15 this year 3 Million shares held short in the US OTC market were shuffled back into the Canadian market in preparation for covering during the few days following the short report manipulated attack on TOS in Canadian markets. Approximately another 2.5 M shorts were then taken out in the Canadian market by ?retailers, mostly, suckered in by the short report to take short positions under 2.60, as the US short interest holders out of the opaque Clearing Houses south of the border covered nearly all their 3 M short position and exited the trade profitably as per the aim of the complelely false but damaging short report. It would not be surprising to see some substantial short covering occurring at any time (though recent volume doesn't reflect enough total trades) given the substantial share price appreciation expected following FDA submission being done, a probable positive extended claim for duodenoscopes being given by end of 2017, and with further regulatory winds in TSO3's sales (pun intended). :) But, as occurred last summer 2016, if there are US institutions or hedge funds holding the short interest, don't be surprised to see them just move their interest back to the OTC market for storage with an opaque Clearing House instead of covering. I don't expect this latter to be significant this time around, however, as I believe most of the shorts taken out after the purpotrated lies of the short report were by gullible retailers left holding the short bag, but one never knows for sure.
