The Company's upstream operations include oil sands projects in northern Alberta, thermal and conventional crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs) projects across Western Canada, crude oil production offshore Newfoundland and Labrador and natural gas and NGLs production offshore China and Indonesia. The Company's downstream operations include upgrading and refining operations in Canada and the United States, and commercial fuel operations across Canada.

I agree that CVE is trading counter to oil price, and somewhat counter to competitor trend.
I can't help but wonder if Conoco is in fact selling some of their shares on the open market within a range. I've been told that this is not so by Eigen whom I respect, but it still feels like its happening regardless.

Another thought is that our WCS price is being hurt by the keystone leak / outage but that should affect others like SU or CNQ equally I would think.
