VFF Will be a Player

VFF Will be a Player    Have finally dipped in and taken a position with this play. This company continues to fly under the radar of most investors. The CEO Michael DeGiglio, has a vast knowledge of greenhouse growing which help contribute to the cost efficient operation. This company has managed to stamp itself as one of the largest growers of produce in North America, and is profitable . The diffference being, that this company will now become a growth story. They key for my investment is there was no share dillution for this partnership, and VFF has a market cap just under $200 million.

This company currently has over 1200 employees, has been farming since 1987, and are a market leader in their field.Shop at  any Costco or Walmart and you will see their products sold there.

in 240 acres of greenhouses and by partnered greenhouse growers. Village Farms’ greenhouses use 86% less water than a field grower and produce 20 to 30 times more yield per acre.

Village Farms CEO Michael DeGiglio said he expects the first greenhouse to be converted for cannabis farming by 2018

Under the terms of the deal announced  with Emerald Health Therapeutics, Village Farms will provide Emerald with an existing 1.1 million square foot greenhouse in Delta,BC in exchange for $20 million cash and a 50 per cent stake in the joint venture. If approved and licensed by Health Canada, the greenhouse could yield more than 75,000 kilograms of marijuana per year, the companies say.

Emerald has the option to lease two more greenhouses from Village Farms in the future, for a total of 4.8 million square feet of growing space with an estimated annual yield of 300,000 kilograms.

"Based on our extensive modeling, we believe we can achieve a cost of production less than $1 per gram," said DeGiglio. "For context, the average cost of production of the largest licensed producers in Canada is currently above $2."

Based on those numbers, This company has to be considered a major player in this blossoming canibus market..Im here for the next 3 years minimum..

May future endeavors bring riches beyond your wildest dreams..
