RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Extension
Curv was right about the price they can fetch for BF, was off with Cerro, with SD we will see.
Q2 noted that the impairment charges they took are based on the fair market value received during the course of the strategic review. So after these massive write offs (~290M) they sold BF and Cerro for the amounts noted in Q2 (see page 47 under Segmented information in Q2).
The carrying asset value for SD is noted as $309M with $71M liabilities or $238M. It was noted that this is based on significant reduction to the silver stream.
Alexco99 noted that WPM most likely agreed on the reduction so I will offer my speculation:
Stream reduction by 50% and buying silver at $8/oz for the allotment (up from current $4/oz). WPM fetch $60M cash - about half of what they carry as a stream value in their Q3.
The remaining $180M to Primero and I'm assuming the RCF is taken care of by cash, VAT, and sale of BF and Cerro.
So $180M-$75m debentures = $105M left for shareholders. Will deduct $20M for expenses and paying some taxes own to Mexico for 2015,6 and 17 so $85M/192M shares = US$0.45/share.
Of course this is based on the numbers shown at Q2/3 and that 50% reduction is what the buyer is looking for.
I would not be very happy with that outcome but will be better that the most likely US$0.2-US$0.3/share they will probably offer if the value of SD is lower from what they carry in the books or the stream reduction requirement by the buyer is much more aggressive.
