One compelling aspect of TNYLast weekend, I read a future forecast of the MJ industry in Canada penned by a reputable analyst who forecasted that MJ revenues should attain revenues of $2 Billion yearly. I am assuming that this forecast was for traditional method of consuming MJ and that is by smoking.
Looking at three of the top MJ manufacturers in Canada the following Market Caps are
1. Aurora Cannabis---------Market Cap $2.7 Billion
2. Apria Inc -------------------Market Cap $1.4 Billion
3. Canopy ---------------------Market Cap $3.6 Billion
Total---------------------------------------------$7.7 Billion
Lets assume all the other 100's of wannabe Weed producers have a combined Market Cap of $1 Billion then we now have a present $8.7 Billion chasing a $2 Billion industry.
Now lets look at my projected revenues (figures from top of my head) of MJ Beverages and I am going to go real conservative and say that we will have $1 Billion of revenues within the market in Canada (forget California etc.)
And who is chasing this $1 Billion of revenues (at this time)?
A Company known as Tinley Beverage----------Market Cap $49.8 Million
So what is a better investment? $8.7 Billion chasing $2 Billion revenue
or
$49.8 Million chasing $1 Billion
