RE:Reasons for selling???Based on my experience as an insider with four typically successful takeover plays, here's what I think is happening. There will eventually be a takeover bid, but not before the feasibility study has been completed. Until then, the SP will move sideways within a relatively narrow band. This offers some opportunity for day traders to make a few pennies here and there, and requires a disciplined patience on the part of longs. Some institutional shareholders are likely selling, because they realize that there won't be much more SP appreciation until the feasibility study, and they want to lock in their accrued gains for calendar 2017. An incredible amount of work goes into the preparation of a feasibility study, including lots of different kinds of drilling that is not intended to find more ore per se, but is intended to test water tables, underground characteristics, sites for infrastructure, etc etc. Then there are the environmental and permitting chapters that have to be researched and prepared for the study. I'm long and I'm in no hurry to sell. I'll just sit here and watch the day traders justify their existence, and watch the institutions lock in their accrued gains for 2017. Btw, management is doing everything right - they make a great team.
