Here's a risk to the Lithium business: CobaltFrom Google: State-of-the-art cathode materials include lithium-metal oxides [such as LiCoO2, LiMn2O4, and Li(NixMnyCoz)O2], vanadium oxides, olivines (such as LiFePO4), and rechargeable lithium oxides. Layered oxides containing cobalt and nickel are the most studied materials for lithium-ion batteries.
The problem is that with more lithium batteries, the demand for cobalt will skyrocket and there is precious little world supply - most comes from China and is strictly reserved for China's use. We may have the Lithium, but it's not worth much if we don't have enough cobalt to make batteries for the EV revolution.
Don't want to throw cold water on all this CYP excitement (I'm a shareholder), but facts are facts. Even Elon Musk is worried.
If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.
