RE: Spot is down a buck to 23.5.The real price drivers are not in place yet Sailor. Utilities not yet at the table to sign long contracts. But that day is coming. Read recently that Cameco shutdown McArthur River and Key Lake because it is cheaper for them to fill their current contracts with spot purchased Uranium and their own stockpiles rather than run the mine. Better to leave it in the ground and let others make the losses. A very smart but difficult decision to make...but the right one.
Had expected the Kazakhs to make a move this fall but nothing yet. Perhaps this is a strategy to take out as much of the competition as possible so they are the only game in town.Quite the possibility if CCO goes under.
