The US will get a rude wake up call!

The US will get a rude wake up call!I am very happy that the Keystone pipeline is shutdown with no timeline to restoration.  It will give the US a wake up call how dependent they are on Canada as a partner in their energy stability.

Canada needs more pipelines and needs more refineries having gone from 40 to just 15 across the nation.  We are too dependent on the US for refined products while the US is too dependent on Canada for its crude.

Alternatively, the two countries can continue to cooperate more closely together leaving the nasty rhetoric aside.  I personally vote for more refineries and more pipelines to other non-US markets.

We have been warned that we needed more pipeline capacity between these two mutually dependent trading partners.

"Today, Canada has limited pipeline infrastructure to move oil and natural gas across the country and into the United States."
