RE:Back with a positive newsThanks for sharing nynycasino, this is really thorough analysis. It discusses what the company is doing right, the risks, how its undervalued, and what needs improvement. I specifically like that they addressed the same concerns I just mentioned in my last post about mgmt compensation and lack of ownership. This reiterates the reasons I invested in CRH when I did and the reasons I still hold it. I fully agree that at these prices the upside potential here is outstanding!
"Total management compensation for CEO and CFO has skyrocketed over the last three years, with the majority of the increase stemming from additional share based awards. CEO compensation of $4M for 2016, in a company that does $100M is very high, yet we view the increase as warranted given the meteoric rise in total revenues, adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow per share.
Our biggest gripe with CEO Ed Wright would be the amount of shares he currently owns relative to this salary ($120000). Although he has been awarded 3.5mm share units, we'd like to see this percentage of outstanding shares owned by Wright increase in the coming years.Of note, his percentage of equity owned has increased ten fold since 2014, yet still represents less than 1% of shares outstanding, before factoring in options and share units."
