I just had a lengthy conversation with SVM investor relations. The shares that will be bought back will be CANCELLED, never to be brought back. NOT put in a treasury option. CANCELLED. Lets put that to rest now. If you think otherwise call them yourself 604-669-9397 Kathy
They feel we a undervalued and this will benefit the shareholder.
Your trying to read between the lines but there is a logical disconnect.

As of today SVM has 98 million cash, plenty of money to do this. The future looks bright for this company.
