RE:And it moves toward legalization Just FYI, because I did some research and don't mind sharing: In the Senate there are 94 Senators, 51 appointed by Liberals and 43 appointed by Conservatives. 14 are officially affiliated to the Liberal Party and 35 officially affiliated to the Conservatives. The rest are considered independent.
