Ordinance 579 First Hearing Approved by City Council

This is a further follow up to my previous posts (link1 and link2) regarding Ordinance 579.

Last night (Nov 27, 2017) at the Adelanto City Council meeting, the first hearing of Ordinance 579 was passed. This paves the way for the passing of a second reading and enactment of Ordinance 579 which will enable medical cannabis cultivation facilities to include cannabis nurseries.

Mr. Eckenweiler spoke to the Adelanto City Council in support of the ordinance. You can watch the video clip (here) between roughly the 6 min and 13 min marks.

Two interesting comments made by Mr. Eckenwiler:

LDS nursery will be ready for operations in ~3 weeks (7 min 22 mark); and,
LDS tested over 90+ farms in Northern California and found 6 farms that were not contaminated (10 min 27 sec mark), giving LDS at least 6 suppliers to feed extraction, vape cartridges and CannaStrips.
