I agree with everything in your post with one exception and it is the biggest debate surrounding the ACB, Cannimed, Newstrike deals...
Cannimed has the trust of the government as the longest serving player in the legal medical market.  Cannimed has so much trust that another player (Newstrike)  that somehow drew the partnership of the largest spokesperson for Medical Marijuana to date in Canada wants to work together to build a positive customer driven future.

As a Newbie, who would I trust - Gord Downie who spoke up for people without voices while battling something that has impacted every persons life in someway and that openly spoke about the great things a company is doing to ease suffering in a responsible way, and who is friends with the Prime Minister of Canada who's government has pushed this legislation forward, and is now looking to partner with the longest serving medical marijuana provider in Canada..... or Aurora, who has some big green houses under construction, a lot of money in the bank, and believes that the contributions of Gord Downie and its link to Newstrike is "overvalued"?  I know who I (a newbie) would trust. 

Also, I would mention I wasn't a huge HIP fan when I was younger (liked them though lol)  but guess who all the kids in schools have been learning about for the past year and all the reasons why? Cancer, Canadian heros, Health class (medical marijuana), changing laws
