MED BIOGENE INC. - CONSOLIDATION

Med BioGene Inc., pursuant to a resolution approved by the board of directors, intends to consolidate its issued and outstanding common shares on a 10-old-shares-for-one-new-share basis, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The company currently has 87,578,353 shares outstanding, and following the consolidation will have 8,757,835 shares outstanding, assuming no other shares of the company are issued. The name of the company and stock trading symbol will remain the same.
