Goldstream deal with W

Goldstream deal with WCurve brought up a good point about goldcorp owing W money in 2031. Deal was done in 2010 and mine produced about 5 million oz in 2010 so I assume thats how they  based deal.  Over 20 years thats appr 100 mil oz.  At todays production its about 85 mil oz.  So the way I see it gold corp will owe
W an extra 8-10 million at todays production.   Goldcorp knew going in there  would be some time of back end payment as over 10 million oz would need to be produced to break even and thats a tall order.   I see goldcorp owing W maybe 70 million at end of deal.  They knew they would be owing at least 55 million so For me its still a non event.  Thank you for pointing that info out curve, more info the better

Silver Wheaton noted that Goldcorp will continue to guarantee the delivery by Mala Noche of all silver produced and owing to Silver Wheaton, until 2029, and a payment of US$0.50/oz for any shortfall below 220 million cumulative silver ounces delivered to Silver Wheaton by the end of 2031.
