RE:Interesting Article re Cohodes

RE:Interesting Article re Cohodes
Hello first time poster, long time reader... Im not the brightest peg in the light brite so have some patients If an article or body of words is created published/distributed and is about a person/company and that person/company feels the content impairs their ability to earn an income equal to that of which before the article is published and the article is percieved to be the root cause of the impairment then that person/company can seek compensatory damages? Is it fair to say then that if a person/company that performs a task to have unfavourable articles removed is being compensated? That being said, is Cohodes being compensated for his envolvment with OSTK? If he is in fact being compensated, can that compensation be measurable in monetary gain? If there can be a measurable monetary gain, does he owe taxes on that? Not bashing here just curious as how things work... as I said already I'm sm&rt like rock and quick like dump truck and a newbie to finance and investing so please when responding spell big words FO-ANNE-TIC-ALLY
