("ParcelPal" or the "Company"), (PKG:CSE) (FSE:PT0) (OTC:PTNYF) - is pleased to announce, as part of its ongoing commercial launch, the official launch of on demand alcohol delivery in Vancouver, BC.
Reliable alcohol delivery has finally come to Vancouver through ParcelPal. Unlike other delivery models in Canada, ParcelPal supports digital orders directly through the app and does not require customers to phone the Company to place or complete an order. ParcelPal has made strides in their technology with the ultimate goal of enabling customers the ability to order virtually anything from anywhere in their city. The Company's order tracker enables customers to see every move their order makes from pick-up to delivery, along with an estimated delivery time. The delivery fee for all liquor stores is only $6.99, which will be waived as part of the launch.
With multiple liquor store partners on the ParcelPal platform, the service currently covers the Vancouver area with more areas throughout the Lower Mainland to come throughout the winter. A nationwide roll-out of liquor delivery and other delivery verticals to other Canadian markets is planned for the coming months.
To order, customers of legal age must download the ParcelPal app for iOS and input their address to get a list of liquor stores that are available in their immediate area that offer deliver to them. There are no minimum order requirements, and payment is made directly on the app. Customers ordering on the ParcelPal app will be required to confirm they are 19 or older prior to checking out. In order for alcohol to be delivered, a recipient 19 years or older must also be present to sign for the delivery and show proof of legal age with a valid photo ID.
President and CEO Kelly Abbott states, "Since July we have made over 2000 deliveries in Vancouver, so it made perfect sense to add liquor stores to our platform. ParcelPal has initiated marketing efforts in various cities in Canada in anticipation of this expansion.
