I would like to know...
Rather than gnashing teeth over perceived corruption, I think people here should realize that there have been two court rulings against this project. I personally would like to see the company post to their website an English translation of the Supreme Court ruling when it becomes available. I would then, perhaps, be able to make a decision for myself as to how deep a regulatory hole the company is in.
Further to this "full disclosure", I would like to know how long will it take to prepare a new, compliant Indigenous Study. And, after submitting such new study, what is the company's best guess as to how long the review period would run. Just as important, after such review and presuming a new construction licence is issued, would there be an appeal period as in Canada that would delay construction, or does Brazil allow construction to begin immediately? I would expect the former, but I just don't know.
Meanwhile, this fiasco makes me feel VERY comfortable with my investment in Lydian!
